Wednesday and Sunday usually from 10am to around 2pm, weather permitting!
Upcoming Meetings
For 2026 it has been agreed that there will be no formal meetings at the Grangeway Community Centre and that any information will be passed on via the usual Email, Facebook, Whats app channels as well as a Wednesday and Sunday at the Lakeside.
As at 01-01-2026, there is enough depth of water for most of the boats we have to sail, levels are at what was normal depth before the refurb, however this will drop daily as the only source of water to the boating pond is that which falls directly into the lake area, there is littel to no run off from the sides.
Of course we find this intolerable and all efforts are being undertaken to rectify this, however as we are reliant on HBC and United Utilities we can only keep complaining, for those who use face book there are various groups where there are active threads.

The Main Issues are :-
- The Pond Leakes.
- United Utilies have turned off the only known water supply.
- HBC will not currently allow any major clean out of the muck.
- Despite what HBC are saying the 3 land drains Do Not Work and have not worked for over 15 years if at all.
Unfortunately all of this is outside are controll, and we do not wish any Subcsribers to leave the group and as such various local clubs have been contacted and are happy for us to sail with them these being Livepool Club, Southport Club and New Brighton which are all public lakes, to date we have not heard back from Ellesmere port which is private.
We would like to take this time to thank Conn O Duibhir who has posted some very good posters and organised the protest a few Sundays back.
